A life Uncertain!

"And see, now I go bound in the Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there.
Except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish
my race with joy, and the ministry whichI recieved from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel
of the grace of God"
Acts 20:22-24

A Spirit filled Christian life does not always mean a life that is perfectly visible through the human eyes or a life well planned.
Paul testifies that he has no clue as to what would happen to him, yet he trusted God seeing a greater glory that was awaiting him.

When Philip was instructed by the Holy Spirit to minister to the Ethiopian, he had to literally race with the chariot to catch up with it.
Whe he finally baptised the eunuch, the Spirit of the Lord caught him away, so that the eunuch saw him no more. (Acts 8:26-40).
Philip was found at Azotus which was miles away!!! And the Lord used him beautifully in the place he was led to.But he obviously was not ready for the vanishing trick!
What a life of surprises!
Be it good or bad, pleasant or sorrowful, or sometimes even shameful- it is always for the glory of the Majesty!

We do not always know what would happen to us in life, it would never move us but will surely help us on our onward Christian race- to finish it as Christ wills!

But on this one will I look

“But on this one will I look, on him who is poor and of a contrite spirit and who trembles at My word “ Isa 66:2
Our God is a God of the poor and the humble. He say’s in His word that He is all ears to orphans and widows. Their cries reach the ears of our father in Heaven even while they speak. He loves the people with a broken and a contrite spirit because they are the ones who have really known their true self.
Angels, first in the order of creation were made of brilliant and precious stones . (Ezk28:13-19) but they fell by their pride. But man, in the likeness of God was made of dust becauseGod wanted to teach us a lesson of humility. Humility is much more precious than gold and diamonds.
During our highs and lows, good times and bad times, each and every moment we must remember that we are nothing apart from Him.
We have done absolutely nothing to deserve His Love in our lives. Let this ring everyday in our minds and let’s realise that we stand by His Grace.
“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy” Psa 32:18
